I have an old Viscount Van I would like to re-paint.
Can you provide any advise as to the best type of paint for the job and maybe some helpful tips.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Greg, you’ve got a classic Aussie van. I haven’t painted one personally, would it be worthwhile speaking to a panel shop in your area and getting some tips. I imagine they will suggest using automotive paint with pressure spray equipment if you want a nice looking job. I have seen one done with a spray can and from a distance it looked great. Curiosity about why an old van looked so good drew me for closer inspection where it was only just noticable that it was a backyard job. I guess it depends on what your intended use is.
